The best way to care for your underwear is to wash it by hand rather than using a machine. Machine washing can damage the materials and affect the fit of the garment negatively. To prolong the lifespan of your undergarments, wash them by hand using a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and hang them up to dry. If machine washing is necessary, use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent at 40 degrees Celsius. Colored underwear should be washed with a detergent specifically designed for colors, while white garments can benefit from a detergent with optical brighteners to restore whiteness.
